ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES

Executive Director Laurel Oswald specializes in agency leasing for the South Florida market. She brings over twenty-two years of experience to numerous property types, ranging from suburban midrise product to downtown trophy high-rise buildings. With a “think like the owner” mentality she has a track record of successfully leasing and repositioning assets while creating long-term value for her clients.

WORK EXPERIENCE

Ms. Oswald was previously a Director with Cushman & Wakefield, where she leased a portfolio of properties comprised of approximately 2 million square feet of premier Class A properties throughout Miami, Broward and Palm Beach County. Prior to Cushman & Wakefield, she was a Senior Vice President with Transwestern for eight years, where she oversaw leasing and business development in South Florida and launched the Ft. Lauderdale office. She specialized in repositioning assets and maximizing value through aggressive marketing and creative structuring of lease transactions. From 2001 to 2005, Ms.Oswald was a Senior Associate of Project Leasing in Miami-Dade County for Dallas-based Trammell Crow Company. While there, she managed a Class A portfolio that grew to approximately 1.6 million square feet of space.

EDUCATION, MEMBERSHIPS AND AWARDS

Ms.Oswald and her team were recently awarded NAIOP’s 2017 & 2015 Office Brokerage Team of the Year and finalist in 2018-2023 based on the volume, total lease value and complexity of transactions closed in South Florida. She was also selected as one of the 2016 “25 Most Influential Women” in real estate. She has also been recognized several years by Costar as a “Power Broker” for her volume of transactions completed within South Florida. Ms. Oswald consistently ranks as a top producer and is frequently quoted in the local media as an industry expert on commercial real estate trends. She Serves on the Board of both NAIOP and The Grater Fort Lauderdale Alliance (a public/private agency for economic development for Broward County). Ms.Oswald graduated from the University of California, Irvine.
