The U.S. General Services Administration and the Podhurst Orseck Law Firm both signed deals to relocate their Miami offices to the SunTrust International Center downtown.

Tower Commercial Real Estate’s Jon Blunk, Cristina Glaria and Laurel Oswald represented landlord Crocker Partners in the leases at the 31-story, 449,000-square-foot tower at 1 S.E. 3rd Street. The building recently underwent a $15 million renovation, including a new sky terrace, fitness center and conference center.

The GSA relocated from an office on Brickell Avenue to 42,000 square feet at SunTrust International Center, Podhurst Orseck Law Firm relocated from a Flagler Street office to 18,000 square feet and American Lawyers Media renewed its 6,000-square-foot lease. Tower Commercial said those three deals were valued at $26 million.

“The Miami CBD market continues to improve with declining vacancy and rising rents,” said Blunk. “Crocker Partners’ investment in revitalizing SunTrust International Center was well timed and repositioned the building as one of the market’s best located and most highly amenitized.”
